Like what kind of questions? (here's a couple of
recent ones)
| I am office sharing with some real estate agents. I have a
separate entrance and isolated office space excluded from them. I don't pay them
a flat rent I pay them a % of my fees each month for rent and supplies. Are there any
RESPA issues here? If so what are they?
Are there any other legal issues here that I may not be aware of?
I opened an independent residential real estate mortgage net
branch. My question is what
specifically do I need to do to be sure that I am fully compliant with RESPA
& GLB?
I am a new Mortgage broker/owner in North Carolina. I need to know what
disclaimer (in order to be in compliance with State and Federal
regulations) I need to have on my flyers/print ads/postcards that I mail to customers and/or
give to Real estate
agents. I understand about the APR trigger, but I was wondering
what specific disclaimer has to be in the advertising? Ex: "Certain restrictions apply"
etc. and whether or not I have to have "Equal Housing Lender/
Opportunity" in all ads? Can I offer a coupon for "200 dollars off closing costs"
in flyer?
